By listing a hotel on CheckinView you agree to be bound by these Terms of Listing Hotel (“Terms”). Please read these Terms carefully before listing any hotels on CheckinView. If you do not agree to these Terms, please refrain from using CheckinView.

 

1. CheckinView Service

CheckinView.com (collectively referred to as “CheckinView”, “Platform”, “We”, “Us”, or “Service”) is an online Platform designed to help users discover and share genuine hotel experiences. Users can post and explore hotel reviews in the form of videos, photos, and text (collectively, “Reviews”), and search for hotels, perks, and related services around the world.

Hotels that offer accommodation, discounts, special perks, or other related services (collectively, “Hotel” or “Hotelier”) can showcase their properties through videos, photos, text, and other materials (collectively, “Media”), as well as promote their offers, rates, memberships, and benefits (collectively, “Content”).

 

Users can explore this Content on CheckinView and, where applicable, be directed to the respective Hotel’s website to complete their bookings directly with the Hotel. In addition, our trusted partners, including advertisers, co-branders, affiliates, technology providers, and other collaborators (collectively, “Third Parties”) may publish their offers, services, and events on CheckinView.

 

2. Authority and Legal Capacity

If You are listing a Hotel on CheckinView on behalf of a company, organization, or other legal entity, You confirm that You have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms. In such cases, references to “You” and “Your” in these Terms include both the individual acting and the legal entity they represent.

You must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate and complete Media, Content and Information, and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of Your CheckinView account information and for all activities that occur under Your account. Furthermore, when You create an account on our Platform, You agree that We may contact You for any purposes related to CheckinView.

 

3. Direct Bookings

When CheckinView’s users make or accept a booking on the Hotel’s website, they are entering into a contract directly with the Hotel. CheckinView is not and does not become a party to, or other participant in, any contractual relationship or agreement between users and Hoteliers. We are not acting as an agent for either party and do not control the conduct of users or Hoteliers.

You acknowledge that CheckinView has the right, but not the obligation, to monitor the use of our Platform and to verify the Media, Content, or other information provided by the Hoteliers. The accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all Media, Content, and Information submitted to CheckinView are the sole responsibility of the Hotel. CheckinView shall not be liable for any errors, omissions, or outdated Media, Content or information resulting from the Hotel’s failure to provide accurate or updated materials.

 

4. Responsibility for Media and Content

When listing Your Hotel on CheckinView, You are solely responsible for any offenses, claims, or damages that arise from Your Media and Content. The publication of Your Media and Content on our Platform in no way alters or diminishes Your responsibility, nor does it transfer any responsibility for the Media and Content to CheckinView, which shares or makes them available to the public.

Under no circumstances will CheckinView be liable in any way for any Media or Content, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any Media or Content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred in connection with the use or publication of Your Media and Content shared on our Platform, emailed, accessed, transmitted, or otherwise made available on CheckinView or our Third Parties’ websites.

 

CheckinView displays Media and Content that are the sole responsibility of the legal entity that makes them available on our Platform. There is no reasonable way for Us to monitor all Media and Content submitted to our Platform, and We are under no obligation to You or other users to monitor, edit, or control the Media and Content that You submit. This means that We are not responsible for any Media or Content, and You agree to take full responsibility, liability, and all risks associated with the Media and Content.

 

We may review submitted Media and Content to determine whether they are illegal or violate our policies, and We may remove or refuse to display Media and Content that We reasonably believe violate our policies or the law. However, this does not necessarily mean that We review all Media and Content.

 

You should only submit Media and Content that are relevant and appropriate to our Platform. The Content may not contain inappropriate background conversation, obscenities, profanity, inappropriate material, hate speech, offensive content, promotion of illegal conduct, or other guests’ or users’ personal information such as names, phone numbers, or email addresses. Moreover, Content may not defame, abuse, harass, or otherwise violate the legal rights of others. We reserve the right not to publish Media and Content that do not meet these requirements.

 

When You list Your Media and Content on CheckinView, You enter into a direct agreement with our users and are solely responsible for ensuring that the Media and Content You provide accurately represent Your Hotel and its services. If any part of Your Media and Content is incorrect, it is Your responsibility to promptly notify CheckinView and ensure that all information displayed on our Platform is accurate, current, and up to date.

 

If any misinformation arises from Your Media and Content, You are obligated to honor the information published on our Platform without exception and assume full responsibility and liability for any resulting costs, losses, or compensation claims. This ensures a trustworthy and consistent experience for both our users and Your guests.

 

It is therefore crucial that You only publish Media and Content that are accurate, final, and not subject to frequent or seasonal changes, unless otherwise agreed with CheckinView.

 

By listing Your Hotel on CheckinView, You accept full responsibility for any costs, claims, or liabilities arising from Your Media and Content displayed on our Platform and agree to indemnify CheckinView, its business partners, and employees from and against any claims, suits, or actions resulting from or related to the use of our Services or any violation of these Terms, including, without limitation, all associated damages, losses, judgments, litigation costs, attorneys’ fees, and any other costs or expenses of any kind.

5. Hotel Updates

Your listing of Hotel must include complete and accurate information about Your Media and Content. You are responsible for ensuring that all such Media, Content and information must remain accurate and up to date at all times.

6. People Featured

By Listing Your Hotel on CheckinView, You guarantee that any individuals who are clearly identifiable have given their consent to have their likeness displayed on our Platform, printed materials, or used in any form of media or marketing activities by CheckinView and our Third Parties. You further confirm that You hold all necessary rights and permissions to use the Content in this manner and accept full responsibility and all risks associated with such use.

 

7. Rights You Grant to Us

CheckinView does not claim copyright or any kind of ownership rights to the Content. However, when You list Your Hotel on CheckinView, You grant us and our Third Parties an unrestricted, royalty-free, non-exclusive, worldwide, and transferable right to use and fully exploit the Content, to copy, modify, reproduce, edit, publish, display, distribute, or otherwise use it in connection with our marketing and business activities, including derivative works thereof, in any media formats and through any media channels, without any further consent from You and without payment of any

compensation to You, any person, or any legal entity.

 

We reserve the right to use, not use, or discontinue using any Content in our sole discretion at any time.

 

8. Payment and Cancellation

 

8.1 Subscription Fee

 

Subscription Fee: The Hotel agrees to pay the subscription fee (“Subscription Fee”) for the subscription plans as selected by the Hotel during the hotel listing process. This Subscription Fee is charged on an annual basis and will automatically renew at the end of each subscription term, unless cancelled in accordance with these Terms.

Billing Cycle: The Subscription Fee is billed annually in advance on the first day of each billing cycle.

 

Price Changes: We reserve the right to change the Subscription Fee at any time. Any changes in fees will take effect at the start of the next billing cycle after notice has been provided to the Hotels. You will be notified via email or through the Platform prior to any price increase.

 

Taxes and VAT: All applicable taxes and VAT, duties, or other charges imposed by government authorities, if any, will be in addition to the Subscription Fee and will be charged to you.

8.2 Cancellation and Termination

How to Cancel: Hotels may cancel their subscription through their CheckinView account.

 

Effective Date: Cancellations take effect only at the end of the current subscription period.

​

Access After Cancellation: Upon cancellation, You will continue to have access to the Service until the end of the current billing cycle, after which Your subscription will terminate.

​

Post-Cancellation Listings: Unless otherwise agreed, CheckinView reserves the right to either remove or retain the Hotel listing on our Platform after cancellation, based on our assessment of its relevance to our business.

No Refunds: All Subscription Fees are non-refundable. If You cancel Your subscription before its expiration date, You will not receive a refund or credit for any unused portion of Your subscription term.

 

9. Cancellation by CheckinView

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend Your subscription at any time, without prior notice, if You breach these Terms, violate our Policies or applicable laws, or if We reasonably believe that termination is necessary to protect CheckinView, our users, or our business interests. In such cases, We may provide You with notice of termination via email or through any other contact information You have provided, giving You a minimum of one week notice where practicable.

In the event of termination or suspension under this section, You will not be entitled to any refund or credit for any portion of the Subscription Fee.

10. Right of Withdrawal

Hotels have the right to withdraw from their subscription within 14 days of the initial purchase without providing any reason.

​

To exercise this right, the Hotel must notify us of its decision to withdraw from the subscription by sending a clear written statement to contact@Checkinview.com within the 14-day period, including the Subscription ID.

 

If the Hotel exercises this right within the 14-day window, CheckinView will refund any Subscription Fees already paid, provided that the Service has not been used during this period.

If any part of the Service has been used before withdrawal, CheckinView reserves the right to deduct a proportionate amount from the refund to cover the value of the Services provided up to the date of withdrawal.

11. Account and Security

You are solely responsible for keeping Your account credentials secure and for all activities that occur under Your account. You agree to notify us immediately if You become aware of any unauthorised access to or use of Your account.

12. Changes, Suspension, and Termination of Services

CheckinView reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform or Services (including any features, functionality, or pricing) at any time, with or without prior notice. We may also limit or restrict access to certain areas of the Platform, remove Content or Media submitted by You, or terminate Your access to the Platform if We believe it is necessary for operational, legal, or security reasons. You acknowledge and agree that CheckinView shall not be liable to You or to any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Platform or any Content, Media, or Services made available through it.

 

CheckinView may update these Terms from time to time to reflect any such changes, and continued use of the Platform following an update shall constitute Your acceptance of the revised Terms.

 

13. Links to Third Party

CheckinView may contain links to Third Party websites. We do not control these websites and are not responsible for their content or availability. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by Us of the website or its content.

14. CheckinView’s Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, designs, and other intellectual property displayed on CheckinView are the property of CheckinView, our Third Parties, or our licensors, and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Platform solely for personal and non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms. Any other use, including reproduction, distribution, modification, or creation of derivative works, is strictly prohibited without our prior written consent.

 

15. Disclaimer

We strive to provide the most accurate information on our Platform. However, we do not warrant the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of any content on our Platform. When you use our Services, you assume full responsibility and all risks arising from or associated with Your use of the Platform. All content on our Platform is provided “As Is” and may include inaccuracies or technical and typographical errors.

 

We hereby disclaim all representations and warranties, whether express or implied, created by law or otherwise, including, without limitation, any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement. We shall in no event be liable for any damages, costs, expenses, or losses of any kind, including, without limitation, direct or indirect damages arising from or in connection with Your use of the Platform, regardless of whether CheckinView has been informed of the possibility or likelihood of such liabilities. Furthermore, we shall not be liable for any defamation, falsehoods, misinformation, obscenity, or any other unlawful or infringing content You or any other party may encounter.

 

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CheckinView shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with Your access to, use of, or inability to use our Platform or Services.

 

17. Indemnification

Hoteliers agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CheckinView, its affiliates, partners, employees, and representatives from and against any and all claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to their use of the Platform, their Media or Content, or any breach or violation of these Terms, our Policies or applicable laws.

 

18. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on this page. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

 

19. Other Policies That May Apply

When You use CheckinView, certain features of the Platform and our Services may require the collection and use of personal information. This may include information that identifies You directly or indirectly, such as contact information, or data generated through Your activity on the Platform. CheckinView may also work with trusted Third Parties, including technology providers, affiliates, or advertising partners, who may collect or process information as part of delivering their services through our Platform.

 

We are committed to protecting Your privacy and handling Your information responsibly. We encourage You to review our Privacy Policy regularly to understand how We collect, use, and safeguard Your personal data, as well as to familiarise Yourself with the privacy practices of any Third Parties You engage with through CheckinView.

 

20. Force Majeure

CheckinView shall not be responsible or liable for any delay or failure to perform any obligation under these Terms resulting from events or circumstances beyond Our reasonable control. Such events include, but are not limited to, natural disasters, accidents, failures of communications or computer systems (whether software or hardware), pandemics, epidemics, war, terrorism, riots, strikes, labour disputes, insurrections, civil disturbances, shortages of labour or materials, fires, floods, storms, explosions, acts of God, governmental actions, or orders of courts, agencies, or tribunals.

 

21. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

You expressly acknowledge and agree that CheckinView shall have the right to enforce these Terms of Use against You.

 

These Terms, together with any rights and remedies provided hereunder, and any and all claims or disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms, the CheckinView or Services, their interpretation, or their breach, termination, or validity, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

 

Any such claims or disputes shall be brought before, and You hereby consent to their resolution exclusively by, a court of competent jurisdiction located in Denmark. Subject to applicable law, all disputes between You and CheckinView shall be resolved only on an individual basis. You shall not have the right to bring any claim against CheckinView as a plaintiff or as a member of a class, consolidated, or representative action (or any other legal proceeding conducted by a group or on behalf of others).
