Welcome to CheckinView's Terms. We appreciate you choosing CheckinView and our service. These Terms explain the important legal terms that apply to anyone who visits or uses CheckinView.
By accessing or using CheckinView.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please refrain from using CheckinView.com.
1. Description of Service
CheckinView.com (collectively “CheckinView”, “Platform”, “We”, “Us” or “Service”) offers an online platform that enables you to share videos, photos, and reviews of hotels (collectively, “Review”) as well as search for perks and hotels around the world. Hoteliers that offer accommodations, discounts, offers, benefits, and services (collectively, “Hotel”) and our Third Parties such as advertisers, co-branders, affiliates, technology providers, or other partners (collectively, “Third Party”) can publish their offers, services, and events on CheckinView.com.
2. Your Obligations
You confirm that you are 18 years old or over and can make legally binding agreements. You understand that you are responsible for all uses of our Platform, as well as ensuring that all persons who access CheckinView through your internet connection are aware of these Terms and comply with them.
3. Business Use
If you are using our Services on behalf of a business, you and that business confirm that they will accept these Terms. You and the business you represent will hold harmless and indemnify CheckinView, the Hotels, our Third Parties, and employees from any claim, suit, or action arising from or related to the use of our Services or violation of these Terms, including any liability or expense arising from claims, losses, damages, suits, judgments, litigation costs, and fees.
4. Review Content
Submitted Reviews may contain videos, photos, and texts. CheckinView values honest and authentic Reviews, so please do not submit videos and photos with overlays such as filters, logos, text, stickers, promotional materials, or identical people who have not consented to have their likeness displayed on our Platform, in print, or publicly otherwise.
You should only submit Reviews that are relevant and appropriate to CheckinView.
The Review must not contain objectionable content, including but not limited to inappropriate background conversation, nudity, violence, obscenities, profanity, inappropriate content, hate speech, offensive content, promotion of illegal conduct, or other people’s personal information such as names, phone numbers, or email addresses that can be used to identify a specific person. Moreover, the Reviews may not defame, abuse, harass, or violate the legal rights of others. Please keep a friendly tone and refrain from using personal insults, threats, prejudiced comments, or other non-friendly utterances. Thus, we reserve the right to disregard Reviews that do not meet the stated guidelines or that we reasonably consider potentially inappropriate or offensive. In addition, you represent and warrant that your Review is honest and not misleading.
5. People Featured
By submitting your Review, you guarantee that any people who are clearly identifiable have consented to have their likeness displayed on our Platform, printed, or used in any form of media and marketing activities by CheckinView, the Hotels, or our Third Parties, and that you have full rights to use the Review in this manner and accept full responsibility and risk associated with the uses mentioned.
6. Rights You Grant to Us
CheckinView does not claim any copyright or ownership rights to the Review. In the course of submitting your Review, you may provide personal information and media, which may be used by CheckinView, the Hotels, and/or our Third Parties in connection with our Services and marketing activities and may be visible to other people. You hereby grant us, the Hotels, and our Third Parties an unrestricted, royalty-free, non-exclusive, worldwide, and transferable right to use and fully exploit the submitted content; to copy, modify, crop, reproduce, edit, publish, display, share, distribute, or otherwise use it in any manner to promote our services and derivative works thereof in any media formats and through any media channels without further consent from you or payment of any compensation to you, any person, or legal entity. We reserve the right to use, not use, or discontinue using any Reviews in our sole discretion at any time.
7. User Contact Information
By submitting a review on CheckinView, you acknowledge and agree that:
CheckinView may collect and store your contact information, including your email address and any correspondence related to your review. CheckinView may contact you in relation to your review, without restriction and without any obligation of compensation to you, any person, or any legal entity.
CheckinView shall not be held liable for any use, storage, or processing of your contact information in connection with your review, provided such use complies with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
8. Accepting and Rejecting
Reviews submitted to CheckinView may be assessed by our team for suitability. Reviews that do not meet the stated guidelines will be deleted from our database, with no copies remaining in our system. We reserve the right to reject and remove any submitted Reviews for any reason, at any time, without prior notice.
9. Your Responsibilities and Assumption of Risk
By submitting your Review, in whatever form and through whatever means, you are solely responsible for its content and for any offense, claims, or damages that arise from the content of your Review. The approval and publication of your Review on our Platform in no way alters or diminishes your responsibility. Nor does it transfer any responsibility for the Review to CheckinView, that share, publishes and disseminates it.
Under no circumstances will CheckinView be liable in any way for any Reviews, including, without limitation, any losses or damages of any kind incurred in connection with the use, publication, posting, emailing, access, dissemination, transmission, or other public availability of any Reviews. CheckinView displays content that is the sole responsibility of the entity or person who makes it available to our Platform. We are under no obligation to you or other users to monitor, edit, or control the Reviews that you and other users upload or submit to our Platform. This means that we are not responsible for any Reviews, and you agree not to make any claims against us, Hotels or Third Parties on account of the submitted Reviews.
10. Copyright and Ownership
By submitting your Review, you guarantee that you are the legal owner of the submitted Review, or have been awarded full and unrestricted rights and permission from the copyright owner to share and utilise the Review for the purposes of our Platform or any other distribution channels including, but not limited to, our Platform, selected Hotels’ or Third Parties’ websites, and/or any media channels.
You guarantee and warrant that such use of your Review content on our Platform does not violate the rights of any other party, does not result in a breach of contract between you and any other party, and that you are solely responsible and liable if any of your Reviews violate or infringe upon the intellectual property or privacy rights of others. You accept full responsibility for any claims, costs, royalties, or fees to any party for CheckinView’s use of your submitted Review.
Reviews that are considered to infringe the copyright or trademarks of other individuals, organizations, or companies will be removed from our Platform. The copyright owner can submit a takedown request. If this is a valid request, your Review will be removed from CheckinView.
11. Intellectual Property
Content made available on CheckinView may be protected by copyright, trademark, and/or the laws of Denmark and/or other countries. Using our Platform does not grant you the right to use any videos, photos, logos, or intellectual property displayed on our Platform. You may not use, copy, modify, prepare derivative works of, distribute, license, sell, publicly display, transmit, transfer, broadcast, or otherwise exploit any content displayed on our Platform except to the extent that you have been granted the right, you are the legal owner of that content, or it is otherwise permitted by law.
12. Third Party Links
Direct booking on our Platform links you to the specific Hotel’s website that may offer products and services that you seek. All information, perks, offers, and services displayed on CheckinView are provided by the hotels, which bear full responsibility for their accuracy, availability, and fulfilment. We have no control over the Hotels and therefore do not warrant or guarantee that their offers are not subject to change or become unavailable. When We direct You to a Hotel’s website and You make a booking or purchase, You and the Hotel enter into a direct agreement with one another. CheckinView does not form any part of, or participate in, any agreement or contractual relationship between You and the Hotel. We do not act as an agent between you and the Hotel, nor are we responsible for the Hotel’s offers, products, services, or website content. Please see the Hotel’s website for its most up-to-date offers, information, and applicable terms.
If any misinformation or dispute arises from the offers displayed on our Platform, CheckinView shall not be liable in any way for any claims, compensation, costs, royalties, or fees to you or any other party. The handling of the dispute is solely between you and the respective Hotel.
13. Third Party Services
CheckinView may contain links to Third Party websites, which are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, services, or resources of any Third Party websites. Accessing such websites from CheckinView is done at your own risk, and you agree that CheckinView shall bear no liability arising from your use of, or reliance on, any Third Party content or services. We strongly encourage you to review the applicable terms and privacy policies of any Third Party website before engaging with it.
14. Hotel Listings
The Hotels listed on CheckinView are independently operated and managed. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information provided by the Hotels.
Prices, offers, and availability are subject to change and may vary from what is displayed on our Platform. Users are encouraged to verify details on the Hotel’s website before booking.
15. Google Terms
Some translations on our Platform have been provided for your convenience using translation software powered by Google Translate. Google disclaims all warranties relating to these translations, express or implied, including any warranties of accuracy, reliability, and any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. These translations are provided as a service to our users and are provided "as is" with no warranties whatsoever.
Some areas of our Platform implement Google Maps services, including Google Maps API(s). Your use of Google Maps/Earth is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service.

16. Feedback and Suggestions
We value hearing from our users and are always interested in learning about new ideas on how we can improve CheckinView. If you choose to submit your feedback to us through whatever means, you agree that CheckinView is free to save your email address, email correspondence between you and CheckinView, and allow us to contact you without any restriction or compensation to you, any person, or legal entity.
By submitting your feedback to CheckinView, you agree that it may be used by CheckinView in order to:
(a) develop and improve CheckinView Services;
(b) contact you with general or personalized notices;
(c) represent and warrant that such feedback is accurate and does not infringe on any third party rights;
(d) irrevocably assign to CheckinView any right, title, and interest you may have in such feedback; and
(e) irrevocably waive all claims relating to any past, present, or future moral rights, legal entity or person’s rights, or any other similar rights to such feedback.
When you provide us with any suggestions, ideas, comments, or other feedback, such feedback shall be exclusively owned by CheckinView.
17. Disclaimer
We strive to provide the most accurate information on the CheckinView Platform. However, we do not warrant the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of any kind of information on our Platform. When you use our Services, you assume full responsibility and all risks arising from and associated with your use of the Platform. All content on our Platform is provided “as is” and may include inaccuracies or technical and typographical errors.
We hereby disclaim all representations and warranties, whether express or implied, created by law or otherwise, including, without limitation, any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement. We shall in no event be liable for any damages, costs, expenses, or losses of any kind, including, without limitation, direct or indirect damages arising from or in connection with your use of the Platform, regardless of whether CheckinView has been informed of the possibility or likelihood of such liabilities. Furthermore, we shall not be liable for any defamation, falsehoods, misinformation, obscenity, or any other unlawful and/or infringing content you or any other party may encounter.
18. Limitation of Liability
CheckinView is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis with all faults. We do not assume any liability for the information or content provided on, posted to, or otherwise made available on our Platform. In no event shall CheckinView, our affiliates, Third Parties, agents, shareholders, employees, or customers be liable to you for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages whatsoever, including any damages resulting from:
(a) errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies of any content;
(b) the use or display of any content submitted, emailed, or otherwise transmitted to CheckinView;
(c) events beyond the reasonable control of CheckinView, including any internet failure, technical errors, non-performance of Third Parties; and/or
(d) loss of use, data, profits, or other tangible and intangible losses resulting from your use of the Platform.
You acknowledge and agree to these limitations of liability, and such agreement will apply even if we have been informed of the possibility of such liabilities.
19. Force Majeure
CheckinView shall in no event be responsible or liable for any delay or failure to perform hereunder arising out of or caused by, directly or indirectly, forces beyond our reasonable control, including, but not limited to, natural disasters, accidents, communications or computer (software and hardware) failures, pandemics, epidemics, war, terrorism, riots, strikes, labor disputes, insurrections, civil disturbances, shortages of labor or materials, fires, floods, storms, explosions, acts of God, governmental actions, or orders of courts, agencies, or tribunals.
20. Changes to Terms
We may modify the Terms at any time, and such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting of the modified Terms of Use on our Platform. You agree to review the Terms periodically to be aware of such modifications, which become part of your agreement with us if you use our Services.
